Only that’s not to say alternative artists aren’t backed by numbers – they are! Many make it into the charts, only if you ask me, it’s for a different reason. I guess you could call us spontaneous the type not to follow the crowd. Reason being that Alternative Hip Hop artists (like moi) don’t tend to adopt the same approach. I mean, why deviate from a winning formula – right? In a world where the majority of rap music is angled towards ‘the lavish life’, you’d assume it’d only be wise for every rapper to take this same ‘hey, look at me’ approach. Okay, so at first glance, Alternative Hip Hop makes no sense.
